Standard Window Unit Glass Upgrage Charges: PLEASE NOTE:  THIS IS "PER EACH" insulated glass unit. If the width X height of the unit is GREATER THAN EIGHT SQUARE FEET "total" .. then you must add this amount to EACH UNIT TO UPGRADE FROM "standard insulated clear glass" TO STANDARD CLEAR INSULATED "TEMPERED UNITS" .. which is rare, however in some areas it is a desired or required feature of window glass. Please understand that this is an "add-on" cost to any standard sash unit order and does not change the 25-35 days production lead time as may be required for your sash productions; This add on is made available with all insulated glass units, casements, double hung etc. and is charged "per each sash". Tempered glass is produced using a slower cooling process, this type of safety glass is much stronger and safer as compared to standard glass. Because of its high resistance to heat and breakage, tempered glass is widely preferred for building and establishment windows in some areas of the United States.
