Kolbe Replacement Window Balances | Color Coded Clutch Style - All Sizes

Even manufacturers like Kolbe & Kolbe rarely used one balance type or style consistently. Even within a single series, sash sizes, the production year or other reasons—this is why we emphasize that you cannot always identify a balance by window brand alone—and must have additional information for proper “parts ID” and other important information such as: 

1. Always Replace Balances in “pairs” for safety reasons.
2. Provide the balance “stamping—ID Code and/or send pictures. 
3. Whether balance pairs are for Top or Bottom sashes?
4. The Type, Style and Color of the “clutch” or Terminal End.
5. The actual length measurement of the metal channel (no ends or terminals)
6. Color* of the tube channel – Mill, White or Beige?
7. * Some balances are only available in “mill finish” - if color is needed it is by owner.
