1.  Identifying exactly which type you have is important.
2.  Stampings / Codes On the balance channel or tube?
3.  Balance Channel Lengths - VERY IMPORTANT (see diagrams)
4.  ALWAYS REPLACE IN PAIRS! - otherwise ons side will be weaker!
5.  IDENTIFY the type of "friction shoe" you have (see diagrams).
6.  Is there an S-Clip or other attachment at top?
