Crestline and Vetter were long‑standing Midwestern USA window brand, wood‑window manufacturer headquartered in Wisconsin. Crestline originated in 1947 as a wood and clad‑wood window producer serving builders across the Upper Midwest, while Vetter grew into one of the flagship product lines as the company expanded into vinyl, wood, and aluminum‑clad systems. By the late 1980s, SNE was one of the nation’s five largest window and door manufacturers, producing Crestline and Vetter windows were acquired by Ply Gem in 1989. In 2001, the brands transitioned again when The Schield Family Companies purchased them, continuing production of Crestline, Vetter, windows and patio doors.
